A Little Bit of What You Fancy...

When it comes to choosing music for your wedding who says you have to stick to the tried and tested formulas of historical tradition?

Don't get me wrong, I'm as big a fan of music from the Renaissance, Classical and Romantic periods as the next person, but why not bring a touch of the modern into your wedding service as well as the reception?

If, as a couple, you're in rock, jazz, Western, Indie or Hip Hop then be brave, have those styles set the theme for the event as you enter the church or service venue. One thing's for sure, your guests won't forget you bouncing down the aisle to Cotton Eye Joe will they?

Then mix it up a bit more, get some great live musicians to perform the music you want... I can hear it now, a brass band performing Iron Maiden or the church choir singing Dolly Parton.

The point is, music is about passion, emotions and everyone's taste is different. Don't be shy about your tastes and have what you really want for your wedding service; it's YOUR wedding after all!

There can't be rules where music choices are concerned so get thinking outside the box and love, enjoy and make great musical choices that will enhance your day.
